2023 Marshall County Science Fair Held
Student “scientists” gathered at the John Marshall Field House in Moundsville Thursday to compete in the Marshall County Science Fair.
The annual competition featured 29 projects from 30 students in sixth through eighth grades at Cameron High School, Moundsville Middle School and Sherrard Middle School. Students competed for 1st and 2nd place in 12 different categories.
Sherrard Middle School 6th grade student Drew Marling’s project titled “The Right Ball Fore You” was named the fair’s overall winner.
Students who placed first in their category at the Marshall County Science Fair are eligible to represent their school at the annual West Liberty University Regional Science & Engineering Fair Saturday, February 11, 2023, at the WLU Highlands Center.
