Today in PLTW Medical Detectives class, students became “medical detectives” as they explored how scientists use experiments to solve medical mysteries. They learned about variables, controls, and the importance of reliable data. Working in teams, students designed and carried out a hands-on experiment to practice these skills. This activity helped them think critically, collaborate, and begin to understand how medical professionals and researchers use science to investigate health-related problems.
